After spending a month at Southwood I am writing to express my gratitude for the wonderful care I received at your facility. I was in rehab and I cannot say enough about the wonderful care I received. E and K taught me a range of exercises that were so helpful that the VNA said I needed only 3 weeks home therapy instead of 9 weeks. You are indeed very fortunate to have such a dedicated staff. I am ready to resume all activities thanks to K, E, and S in rehabilitation. L was exemplary as my therapist also. Your nursing staff and aides were so kind and caring. M on the third floor went beyond the call of duty with her thoughtfulness and attention. The food was great. I just wanted to say you have a well operated Nursing Center and express my sincere gratitude.

On behalf of the entire family of N, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Southwood Nursing Center, especially those on the Laurelwood unit for the loving care they gave to our dad. We were so grateful to know that we could rest easy and know that Dad was being well cared for and that his needs were being looked after. The nursing staff were always available to update us on any changes in medications and conditions. They kept him comfortable during his last few months. Thanks to the aids who helped him with his daily needs. We know your job is hard and we appreciate the respect and love you showed to our dad. Thanks to the activity staff who provide entertainment, stimulation and a better quality of life for those who are not able to direct their leisure time activities anymore. What you do certainly makes a difference. I apologize if I have missed anyone. I recognize that caring for patients with Alzheimers disease is a team effort.
